My role (PIO) didn't need all the tactical response (however it's good to know!).

In the scenarios, PIOs self-deployed to Command. I suggest making someone there call for the PIO as it's on the checklist.

THE COMPUTER SIMULATIONS THEMSELVES ARE SLIGHTLY DATED AND DO NOT FACILITATE THE APPLICATION OF SUITABLE TACTICS; SUGGEST REMOVING TACTICS FROM THE SCENARIOS ALTOGETHER [NOT THE FOCUS OF THIS COURSE] OR A) IMPROVING THE REALISM OF THE SIMULATION OR B) INTEGRATING LIVE ROLEPLAY FOR THOSE IN TACTICAL ROLES.

I think the role of EMS in these types of complex incidents is over-simplified.
