The scenarios. They provided an opportunity to put the concepts and actions into practice.

Some of the lectures, especially during day 3 seemed a little too basic and generic. Unfortunately there are plenty of real world cases to review and maybe breaking a few of them down would have been more of a value. For example; more reviews like the Aurora case review.

Hands on RTF work and more work at the ICS level.

I was assigned as AMB more often than not. I had to actively try and move to different positions.

As my company sits today. The idea of sending ambulances into a warm zone is not an option. I see some change in that mind set in the future as we see more of these active shooter scenarios play out.

Future cross agency training involving all three of us. Law / Fire / EMS.
